Graham Stewart has been involved in a wide range of aspects of the business for more than 25 years. He has a diverse experience in the inspection and laboratory business including overseeing Food Test Lab, Alex Stewart Agriculture, A. Norman Tate and Huson and Hardwick. Graham has travelled and worked extensively in South America and helped set up the company's diversification into the food business in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Uruguay and more recently Graham oversaw the project for building Food Test Lab in Aintree, Liverpool.

Des McMillan started his career at Bootle Analytical Labs in 1985 which specialised in general analytical services to industry as a junior laboratory assistant. He moved to Central Edible Oils in 1988 as an Oil QC analyst and Inspectorate Environmental in 1991 specialising in environmental analysis. He moved to Alex Stewart in 1994 as an analytical chemist and became Chief Chemist of Alex Stewart Agriculture in 2004. He played a key part in integrating the reputable A. Norman Tate and Huson and Hardwick laboratories to the Alex Stewart set up and recently helped design Food Test Lab. Des has been the Chief Chemist of Alex Stewart International's HQ laboratories since 2007 and also the company Quality Manager. In 2011, he successfully led the laboratory to UKAS ISO 17025 accreditation.
Glenn Forbes has 30 years' experience within the industry and joined the Alex Stewart International in 1997. He originally held the position as Cargo Inspector for dry and oil cargoes in the food and feed sector, before moving to over the role as Business Executive. He has been heavily involved in training and operational programmes for clients and has spent considerable time in Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Malaysia, North America, Philippines, Russia, Scandinavia, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, UK and many others training and developing staff in all aspects of food testing and soft commodity inspections. Glenn is a fully qualified in draft surveys, seed sampling, pest detection and regularly participates in GAFTA, FOSFA and IFIA committees, and also lecturing for their international training courses.
Jennifer Thomas's career began in 2002 when she graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a 2:1 degree in microbiology. Jennifer worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 3 years before joining CP Kelco, a fermentation plant who pioneered the production of Xanthan gum. Jennifer joined Food Test Lab in 2008 as food microbiology manager, to oversee all aspects of the microbiology laboratory and establish a laboratory management system in accordance with the ISO 17025 standard.
Rachael graduated from The University of Central Lancashire in 2006 with a 1st class degree in Forensic science. She started her career at Eurofins Laboratories from 2006-2012 testing food, feeds and waters and later on joined Alex Stewart Agriculture in December 2012 as a senior Chemist. Since then she has become Laboratory Manager in 2014 and has taken an active role in developing Alex Stewart Food Test Lab and also internal laboratory audits in conjunction with UKAS.
